Hello fabulous Porsche People!
Its going to be another beautiful quiet weekend, free from SGVR PCA events, but there is a lot to do this weekend. So get in your Porsche, crank up the tunes and drive! While out there, if you run into a fellow Porsche owner…let them know about the SGVR PCA. Our membership is growing but we are always looking for more members to join our ranks. I am especially hopeful we will find that next web site person, email writer, activities planner, cat herder and person wanting to pitch in and help. If that person is you…let us know. If you find someone, please be sure to introduce them to Brian Barkhoff, our illustrious SGVR PCA President or another board member.
CLUB News
- We have launched a SGVR PCA – Private Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/sgvrpca. Facebook users that already follow SGVR PCA and that could easily identify as members were sent direct Facebook invites. All other members have been pre-accepted as members based on your PCA.org email address. This means if your Facebook account uses the same email that you use for your PCA.org account you will be granted member access. For everyone else…you can request an invite where Facebook will ask you for PCA member number. Once the system validates your member number you will be given access to this group.
- So..why the group. Well…for starters…your privacy. Any posts, comments, likes, etc that you make in the SGVR Private Facebook group…can not bee seen by anyone outside our community. Want to comment on an upcoming “ditch day” without the boss seeing your posts…. no problem. The real important thing is that we can more easily share event information and details and ensure that this information is only in the hands of our members instead of it being let out in the public and causing potential mischief.
- Board Meetings – The Next boarding meeting is March 31st at 6PM. The Events calendar has been updated with SGVR PCA Board Meetings for the year, subject to change of course.
- Our next Cars and Coffee event on April 12th will be at the Pasadena Elks Lodge Cars & Coffee. Please be sure to make special note of this change in location. Pre-meet information on the members forum. Please come hungry – the Elks Lodge will have a food truck – Pies and Burgers.
